Stopping by the Woods.....

Most of us would have come across this Wordsworth's work sometime in our academic phase...As good Wordsworth is in painting the nature's scenic with his words its hard for us esp in India to feel how it feels like...The main reason is most of us have not weathered a rough cold weather and that too with snow...So that is why snow was a wonderful and an experience I was looking forward to...

Man can never define natures rules and set it limits...When everyone thought it would snow in December it created sunny evenings with cozy temperatures and when summer should have started in March it is snowin...I dnt knw if the phrase "cats n dogs" can b usd for snowin like we use it for rainin...but thn u mus hv got an idea of the intensity...

It was last Friday n the snow storm started in the mornin...it was by far the heaviest snow fall this winter season...it was a "solid" pour down (literally ;)) for the full day...Inspite of tht I went to office n understandably the office was like a haunted palace....takin out a handful of ppl here n thr the office was empty...now the return trip was fun...it strted snowin heavily n the roads were not cleared n cab which I took was skiddin all the way...

For a normal person reachin home was the major concern...not to me...I reachd home n went to starbucks (one major coffee shop chain here) which was some gud 6 to 8 mies with the snow still fallin...man that was one gr8 experience...seein snow everywhere...

nature sure has a way of showin what purity means...so immaculate n white...itz like the whole earth was immersed in white paint...poets have always compared girls to he moon...actually snow would also serve a gud metaphor for a girl...pure, calm and when u take it in ur hands it jus shy's (melts) away but leaves a trace even after gone... I am not sure if my words do the justice of expounding the full feelin...but guess if even Wordsworth cant wat am I??
