Its been quite sometime I actually wrote somethin for a post....Hv bn more busy with my other keyboard than the one on my laptop....:)..To keep in touch and just for the sake of it I though I'll write a post...
I am that kinda person who just cannot write when I want to...I mean have tried to but I don't quite get the flow...If something that inspires me or influences me it will definitely be on my blog....More the intensity better the post...
One such thing that inspired me recently was ofcourse music...Heard one Beautiful song from Cheeni Kum "Baaten hawayen" for which Illayaraaja has given music to...You don't see Raaja giving music to many Hindi movies...The director Balakrishna happens to be a huge fan of him and so it has happened...Good for me n many others....The song is jus too gud to be explained by words...outta world...heard it cont for 4 times the first time heard it....
The tune of the song "Kuzhaloothum" from a movie called "Mella thirandhadhu kadhavu" is reused. You don't see Raaja reusing anything...But this is worth it...Man 20 yes later also the music is apt for the time...Yeah the backgrounds and the interludes are changed...but still it does not sound like a remix even to me who has listened to the old song some thousands of times....
The first interlude is completely western classical... no composer in India can even think of composing on the same level in Western classical as hez done...Jus awesome...to be frank the second interlude was a lil disappointing initially coz of the first ones influence....usage of percussion n overdrive....very unlike Raaja...But he manages to give back the beauty with a excellent piano solo befre the lead....
I named the post "Assorted" initially thinkin I'll jus mention ths song and talk abt other things...but jus couldnt stop....Listen to the song...You'll appreciate the post then....

To the best of my knowledge this is my first full fledged composition...I filled in the lyrics in Tamil...Not tht am not comfortable writing in English, but the song has Tamil influence on it Thanks to Illayaraaja...Have tried vocal harmony for the first part of the song...can say it came out better than I expected..
The tracks of the songs undrewent loooots of changes...I dont think this even is the latest version but this is the one I got...I am in the process of re-engineering this song with different bass tracks and the interludes...Will probably improve the tempo the song as well...Coming soon...:)

It was the day of my counselling for Engineering colleges. The guy behind me in the line ended up in a Anna Univ and I did not. The reason was just simple. I belonged to Forward Caste and he did not. It has been more than 6 yrs since the event took place..The memory is still green in my mind.
Years have passed and I moved on from my Engineering to my job...The lesion had began to ebb...Now the government has inflicted a new one...It wouldnt be exaggerating if I said I was completely blown down for couple of days after reading the news of new reservation policy by our Government...A glimmer of hope when Supreme Court put a stay on the bill in late March. Even then you can't savor the moment...TamilNadu govt calls out for a bandh opposing SC's judgement (like the current 69% reservation is not enough)...i didnt know to laugh or cry...
It really hurts not as a forward caste element but as a rightful citizen to see the governments short sightedness...I feel a a tinge of joy when I see the dollar value weakening against the rupee...On one side India is growing rapidly on economical front in the global backdrop...But things like these worry me about the future of deserving umpteen teens and future of our country which is in their hands...
Where is this country heading to? I am not some religious chauvinist against backward people nor am I completely against reservations..there should be reservations for well deserving students who cannot afford a degree...Not some son of a rich industrialist who neither will value the degree and worst takes up the seat of an eligible cadidate...
The bottomline is the canonical form of reservations should be based on economical mileu and not caste structure. reservation should really benefit less fortunate people, to unearth hidden diamonds and not compromise a well deserving student and a powerful India. Jai Hind!!

One of my first and favorite compositions...there were many comments on the mood of the song..I remember one of my friends commenting that it flaunts pathos...But to me its talkin love... Thats the reason I didnt want to add in lyrics to this song...coz if I do so Love will be confined to only one language...Since Love is universal I used the universal language..."Music"
This creation was done during my early days of experimenting in music...In that context it is raw and needs refining..Nevertheless it is closer to my heart...Mebbe coz I got all the tracks in one shot...I didnt hv to re-record any of the tracks...n also I used G- Minor Scale for this song which happens to be my fav as well....

Most of us would have come across this Wordsworth's work sometime in our academic phase...As good Wordsworth is in painting the nature's scenic with his words its hard for us esp in India to feel how it feels like...The main reason is most of us have not weathered a rough cold weather and that too with snow...So that is why snow was a wonderful and an experience I was looking forward to...
Man can never define natures rules and set it limits...When everyone thought it would snow in December it created sunny evenings with cozy temperatures and when summer should have started in March it is snowin...I dnt knw if the phrase "cats n dogs" can b usd for snowin like we use it for rainin...but thn u mus hv got an idea of the intensity...
It was last Friday n the snow storm started in the mornin...it was by far the heaviest snow fall this winter season...it was a "solid" pour down (literally ;)) for the full day...Inspite of tht I went to office n understandably the office was like a haunted palace....takin out a handful of ppl here n thr the office was empty...now the return trip was fun...it strted snowin heavily n the roads were not cleared n cab which I took was skiddin all the way...
For a normal person reachin home was the major concern...not to me...I reachd home n went to starbucks (one major coffee shop chain here) which was some gud 6 to 8 mies with the snow still fallin...man that was one gr8 experience...seein snow everywhere...
nature sure has a way of showin what purity means...so immaculate n white...itz like the whole earth was immersed in white paint...poets have always compared girls to he moon...actually snow would also serve a gud metaphor for a girl...pure, calm and when u take it in ur hands it jus shy's (melts) away but leaves a trace even after gone... I am not sure if my words do the justice of expounding the full feelin...but guess if even Wordsworth cant wat am I??

pi...the one number that represents both simplicity and complexity...It remains till date one of the important figures in the world of physics and for mathematicians...The number is important to me for one more reason...3.14 or 14th March -Birthday of the girl who loves me unconditionally and taught me to love...My niece...
Shez the first person who I have seen her growing up from a baby...The main reason is that I was the youngest in the family and didnt really get a chance to babysit...To be honest have never been comfortable around babes..oops sorry babies....But thn this kid changed it all...Its amazing how such a little being can show so much love...
For some reason I dont know, I am her fav person...My sis says she'll wake up from sleep to talk to me when she hears me on the phone...She turns 4 today and know what she wanted for her B'day when I asked her...She said "I dont want anythin...I jus want you to be here"....God wht am I doin here??!!!!!!

Science and Religion
One of the most intriguing conversations I had ever had....Myself and my close buddy Sujay (or SuJ as he calls himself these days) have a reputation of some outta of world conversations...and believe me the below conversation is outta world...i mean literally too...posting this with his full consent..read on...
Sujay: wanted to ask this.. saw anbe sivam rite
Ram: yup
Sujay: train crashes.. boy suffering.. timely blood by maddy.. then he dies
Ram: hmm
Sujay: maddy ponders abt this
saying " what kind of design is this "
thats a very very deep Q
Ram: yup I remember
culdt agree with u more
Sujay: i mean i cudnt think of any thinnest thot of answer
Ram: illada its really deep
I mean we really are not tht big enough to get answers for these da
Sujay: he suffers and dies of young age.. ok we can call karma
true.. but was jus pondering
Ram: how do u define karma?
wat we think as right might be wrong
n vice versa
Sujay: based on what u do in prev birth (thats what gen opinion says rite)
Ram: yeah it is
Sujay: karmic rights and wrongs arent human based rite ?
Ram: yup
I mean itz all the purpose of your life
Sujay: matrx style
Ram: actually ur blog on Saddam made me to think this
u never knw wat Saddam's life intent was
Itz not tht I support him or anythin
Sujay: hahaha.. in fact my mom's spontaneity on hearing his death.. naan bit adichitaen ;)
Ram: :)
but seriously therz a possibility
Sujay: of him going 2 heaven ??
Ram: no I dnt want him 2
but the thing his tht might have bn his purpose in life
i mean u knw the story of Ravana rite
Sujay: yeah.. jus 1 mistake in his whole life
Ram: which led to many of his mistakes
Sujay: now I get it what u trying 2 say
Ram: like desecrating Hanuman, abandoning his brither
etc
Sujay: i will paraphrase
the kid in anbesivam;
his purpose is to show maddy what life is and in turn make maddy realise his purpose
Ram: mebbe
but tht might not be his sole purpose
Sujay: like he had his positive karma during his death bed helping maddy get more +ve karma ?
Ram: tht we might nvr knw
Sujay: hmm.. none knows actually
Ram: yup except for the enlightened ones prob
Sujay: some complex design which will actually have some meaning not comprehensible to 99% of humans
Ram: yup perfect
ultimately it might be like a serious of knots...but by jus pullin one out we might get the thread straight
Sujay: most of ppl going for search of the ultimate truth thinking like this rite ?
Ram: I hope so
this is the beginning though
but once u clear one knot everythin might fall into place
but thn its again one way of thinkin
Sujay: this atheists communities dnt think abt these
show me God..Show me God....
Ram: actually am quite intrigued
yeah
my dad said he watched some show on some crap channel where they had this debate
Sujay: vijay tv-da.. even i mentioning that
Ram: hmm
I c
Sujay: torture ..
enna comedy-na even the theists.. even they dint have sufficeint pts
example of theists POV : can see air, oxygen.. god is like that
de 3rd std level-da
Ram: lame
actuala machi offlate am watchin this Science channel here
excellent da
Sujay: hmm
Ram: full cosmos, black hole
seriously excellent
u wnt even change channels
wuld u believe I watched cont from 12 to 9 once
avvlo interestin
Sujay: 9 hrs !
cool
Ram: yup
everytime i c tht am convinced of a Supreme being da
Sujay: i thot me awing at the creator is
the diversity
Ram: yeah
ennana the big bang explains everythin frm the start if time
Sujay: diversity of ppl, thots, blackholes, univ
Ram: yeah exactly
but whn it comes to wat happnd before our physics fails
coz ideally all the matter now in this univ was created outta nothin..
Sujay: lots of counter-theories to bigbang rite?
Ram: yeah
but tht is the widely accepted one da
Sujay: hmm..yeah..
Ram: n frankly me 2 accept tht...coz all other theroies hv failed to explain many features
Sujay: hmm
Ram: many features of today's universe
thr was this program of wht univ is made of
Sujay: hmm
Ram: how many dimensions n stuff
they say tht univ is made of minute strings somethin calld String theory
but it culdnt explain one feature
Sujay: but string theroy failing in some aspects is what i read somehere
yeah
Ram: so now they say univ is made of minute elongated tubes
Sujay: hmm
Ram: I was kinda remninded of our sayin Thoonilum iruppar thurumbilum iruppar
we cannot even explain the basic question of how we came into existence
how can we explain God
Sujay: this is a prevalent logic rite.. some asteroid r something crashing into earth
some chemical reactions
n creation of 1st bacteria .. n he usual evlotion theory
Ram: amino acids..athellam ok
but am askin the ultimate question
Sujay: but "life"
Ram: how 'd the asteroid come...how were the planets born
Sujay: oh ok
Ram: itz an accepted theory tht everythin is born outta star
Sujay: but how star ?
Ram: yup
whn the universa started with a big bang
all the matters were thrown out n frm that day on universe has bn expandin
initially the univ entered into a cosmic dark age for abt 2 billion yrs
Sujay: hmm
Ram: thn first stars were born
Sujay: hmm
Ram: durin the death of a star supernova resulted in planets n other heavly bodies
Sujay: but the beginning for all these is the Q
Ram: yeah the main Q is how 'd the first stars come into existence
Sujay: for us not to find this out only God has this theory that Time machines cant go back
;)
Ram: :)
or mebbe hez tellin us all the time n we r simply not lookin at the right place
Sujay: yabba cant imagine the magnitude of stuff da
Ram: too bis
big
Sujay: hehhehheh
gud one !
Ram: really
actual wht u say is gud point
everythin is k..asteroid came n hit
amino acids chemical reaction
all fine...
Sujay: hmm.. read it in one of Dan brown
Ram: lightenin struck
Dan brown??
Sujay: this theory da.. asteriod hitting earth n life comes
Ram: no am askin which book?
Sujay: one stupid book of dan brown da
Ram: I dn remember readin in any of his works
Sujay: u read all 4 ?
Ram: yup
Sujay: de.. ithu.. some astriod in arctic circle
Ram: deception point?
Sujay: yeah..
Sujay: k back 2 what u were saying
Ram: yeah
they say life happened as a result of thousands of coincidences
Sujay: thousands is so small number
Ram: yeah mebbe shuld have put millions
Sujay: so miniscualr worth of creation that is WE, can see so many coincidences
Ram: isnt this an emphatic proof
of existence of somethin greater
Sujay: thats my sole Q
i mean sole answer to the Q
does God exist
see 1 small example
our face is some 5sq inch area eyes, nose, ears mouth thts it
think abt the umber of ppl on earth so far.. trillions
r 2 ppl similar....see the pernuation and combinations
I cannot handle
Ram: too much
actually the way Science is advancing today every new discovery bolsters this
black holes, Singularity, Time Travel, Parallel universe everythin
Sujay: s.. r ppl ie scientiest short of Qs
90% of scienties are hard core theists
Ram: yeah..I go by the greatest mind
Einstein
Ram: he said Science and religion are not diff
Sujay: both searches same
means r diff
200 yrs 4m now.. ther will religion only in txt books.. but faith in God will increase
specifically hinduism.. as a way of life..
Ram: yup
u said it
Sujay: ther will be temples.. where ppl go n pray..
Ram: :)
Sujay: i personally feel that is enuf..
well, enuf is very dicey term
Ram: Einstein "The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of true religiousness."
Sujay: machi.. seems a summing up of what we discussing ;)
Ram: yup :0
:)
Sujay: eintein sonna thaan nambuvaanga
Ram: the crux of our discussion in 5 beautiful lines
appo kuda doubt than
Sujay: hmm
?
Ram: people have swelled up egos
they dnt wanna b proved wrong the thing that they have thot is right their whole life time :)
Sujay: hahhaha.. true true
ppl who cant accept reality.. will try to change the reality
Ram: yup u said it
first let them understand general Theory of relativity
then we 'll explain God to them
Sujay: i mean i get what u saying
if u can undertsand a man;s creation
HTF u gonna understand HIS creation
Ram: perfect
Sujay: so many disturbing Qs also da
Ram: like
Sujay: why evil ? y natural disasters ?
y tsunami..?
one which disturbed me the most is " kumbakonam fire tragedy where 30 odd or 60 kids fumed to death
Ram: seriously...
Sujay: i cried..literally after reading in vikatan
i mean..vikatan has written in such a way to kindle emotions..
but seriously whn we think of it
Ram: ofcourse da...the very first Q we get is y??
y kids who dont even have the discreetion of Good from bad
Sujay: yes.. athvum vikatan;s specific incidents poduvaan.. 1 kid wanting 2 save another n bot dying...like tht..
appaaa.. ennala control-a panna mudiyala
Ram: hmm
Sujay: kids man !!
gen we have this hear rite
till 5 yrs of kid.. god speaks to the kids
i mean i have seen it kinda personally.. have seen vivek n rohini grow
Ram: hmm yeah
Sujay: i mean. when they r kids they cry n goto sleep
within seconds.. they sleep n actaully laugh
kandippa god's intervention illaiya enna ???
u mite observed that in samhita also rite?
Ram: 100%
really cannot even come up with a slightest of idea
Sujay: life is.. i mean, undefinable
Ram: yup
too many things and layers
but eventually tied to each other
I mean we r less than an insignificant speck whn compared to the universe
Sujay: do u think humans or evolved humans some may be 1000yrs 4m now will able to untie the knot
Ram: I really doubt da
Sujay: hmm.. same here
i mean i dont want to
Ram: itz too huge da
I mean even today there r saints who realize things
Sujay: if somebody is able to untie the knot and find God and..
Ram: but thn even if they teach us, everyine has to have the maturity to understand things
rather shuld I say spiritual maturity
Sujay: universal truth.. then He is God..
Ram: yup
thts wat Advaita is
Sujay: our basic truth lies on the fact that nobody is above r at par to God
Ram: true...but a part
Sujay: all saints realisation, I belive is, that u cant untie the knot ;)
Ram: I dnt knw :)
am not one
Sujay: hhhahha.. jus said it in lighter sense
Ram: :) but if you see Saints have had mystical powers
Sujay: but thats all not now rite ?
Ram: mebbe
not in the ppl who show they have though
Sujay: yeah.. thats my pt.. God or God thru saints wont show miracles
they dont have 2 show..to prove that they r God..
Ram: not necessarily....
Sujay: means
Ram: takin the liberty to reword ur sentence
Sujay: hmm
Ram: they might display miracles but that will not be for their material needs
like fame or money...u can take the eg. of Sri Ragavendra or Shirdi Saibaba
Sujay: u r echoing my thots basically
they r sent by God to make some realisation..
Ram: Abyuktanam Adharmasya thadathmanam Smrijamyaham
Sujay: thats what they say.. atharmam thalaithookum podhu Kadavul wil make us realise
Ram: exactly
Sujay: have I written what u said in sanskrit?
Ram: almost
Sujay: i mean, man.. good coincidence
Ram: as always :)
Sujay: i had the same thot but cudnt frame it
xln plz
:)
Ram: Atharmam thalai thookum pothu Naan avatharippen...I'll incarnate whenever Adharma increases in the world(Lord Krishna)
Sujay: thats not almost da.. 100% i thot the same
Ram: gr8
The thought process was actually triggered by a mail chain spawned by my friends....The discussion was basically about the good ol days we had durin our coll. times....We were reminiscing those times....
Itz bn close to an year since I set foot in the country of stripes n stars....Even after this stay here I am happy that I stick to the saying "Janani Janma Boomischa Swargadhapi gariyasi" (Your motherland is analogous to heaven)...With no offence to anyone to be frank I have never bn a big fan of uncle Sam and neither did I have a strong desire to come here ...
The money is good here, roads are neat, no pollution but still there's some 'x' factor thats missing over here...Some people might deny this but guess thts subjective..So sayin I'll keep the arena closed for any debates coz I realise am diverting from my topic....I am still reminded of the times I spent over there with my parents n friends....Somehow our lives are spent mostly in thinking about future or recollecting our past...Hardly does anyone live in the present day and present moment coz of the simple reason is tht itz so darn hard....
Time not only moves mercilessly but also with haste...we have been successful in life in our own ways...have almost reached the place of what we dreamed of bein in the college days...but now after reachin tht place wanna go back to the ol' times....how ironical and i guess that justifies my label to this blog...
But guess all good things must come to an end...or else those times wouldnt get the worth they deserve...but the natures best way to relive those moments r the memories...the memories we'll carry with us for the rest of our lives...To quote one of my friends "Time moves but memories don't"

Quater century, Silver Jubilee whatever u may want to call it....25 years of my life I have spent wondering what to do and learning how to do.....But shuld accept life has treated me pretty well in these years.....But I guess the imp question is how I've treated my life for which frankly I really don't know the answer....
To me I am still a kid at heart...guess its a problem with the youngest in the family they always remain a child no matter how much they grow up.....I've taken life as it came and to the day I dont look back and feel that I made a wrong choice or decision (culd've studied a lil harder though)....
God has given me whatever I should get and I dont have to mention that his timing has been immaculate....Well who knows better than him ;).....

The weekend was also remarkable in the context that I finally decided to buy me one of the greatest pleasures....Ordered one of these babies and cannot wait to put my hands on it.....

Its been pretty long hibernation but its definitely different from the normal one...For the fact that I have waken up from the hibernation in winter(or atleast winter so near)...This hibernation can be attributed to my laziness to write (though I love writin) and also that I dont talk much about anything other than Music..
This post also has music in it...
Its been more than 3 months now since I bid adieu to my family n friends at Chennai airport...To be frank I am still a lil nostalgic n cannot get India outta my mind...One thing I really enjoy is the short bus journey from my home to office...It usually takes me 40 mins to get to the office and all through it I have Raaja's music to accompany me...Watching fall colors with Raaja's music in the background...wow no words to describe the feeling....

A software engineer life's never complete without an onsite trip....Its like an universal mantra...Many people crave to be at onsite for various reasons ranging from Money to adult channels.
I never was really desperate for onsite but my friends kept on pressing me to ask my Manager abt that...For that reason and to make my presence felt i walked upto my Manager and had a lil talk. I didnt quite take that talk seriously but guess what my manager did....I was asked to get ready to fly and fly i did after some confusions..
I sort of expected some miracle to happen when i come to US...But after comin here I'm feeling very much like being at Chennai....That can be attributed to the fact that the place where i live is flocked by our guys and the climate now is scorchingly hot...there are certain things that stands out though like the roads, cleanliness and the courtesy stuff that people here show...Itz like ppl smile at u when u r taking a walk down the road... everythin is damn organised and neat...All said n done this place is also on mother earth...People talk as though they have jus arrived at Vaikuntam...oh thats Heaven in hindu terminology....
The one thing i hate the most is people here comparing everything with the related equivalent in India...Like sayin this would have taken a long time in India...people there are so rude....the traffic theres is so unorganised...this n that...dude if u like this place so much jus keep it 2 u...dont go on bringin India in the picture for each n every damn thing n demean it....If people like u come n settle here whoz there to set things rite...Everyone wants to be in a clean contiguous but no one's is ready to clean up the mess.....dont forget u r here coz of India and no matter what u've become in ur life ur sweetest and most cherished days will be the days u had spent in India....
I was talkin with my friend about this(hez bn here for more than 2 yrs) and only thing he said was people change...I really hope I dont...No matter how much this place offers me I would really like to b back at the bosom of my motherland...The warmth that provides is more than anythin else....Know wat guys this blog itself will bolster me doin this...If someday i find myself changing I would prob read this post of mine and hit the back of my head with a little smile...

Lord of the Tomes
I'm not an avid reader of books...atleast used to be like that...I've been bit by this bug off late after i came to work here in Chennai...The main reason being i didnt have an idiot box in my place and to pass time i had to capitulate to Books...Now I've become what u might call a Book "freak" averaging abt 2 books /week....I've even gone to the extent of completing two books in a day....
The average of mine started to decline a month back when i decided to read critically acclaimed "Lord of the Rings"....Please note that i'd seen the movie version of it more than once...Okay now about the book...There's a note at the back of the book sayin "There are two kinds of people on earth...Those who have read Lord of the Rings and those who are going to read"...Man believe me its one heck of a book...u can call it an epic....
The author has done everything for the book from creating an entirely new world to inventin a language...The prologue and the initial parts of it might be on the slower side but once u r thru the half of the first part its pretty much fast...For a book of such volume it is appreciably quick and the occurring of events is pretty interesting....
One thing that captures your attention is the exhaustive description of the landscapes and meticulous portrayal of the scenics...And for people who have not read the book or seen the movie the book has only a handful of Men characters...You 'll come across many kinds of races like Elves, Dwarves, Ents, Orcs, Trolls etc....
You will also find maps of Middle Earth the place where the story is supposed to be happening....Drawn to scale...If you have the habit of reading books give this book a chance...you'll appreciate it...u jus need a lil bit of patience to start with......

One of the rarest marvels of nature,
I really doubt its replication in future,
Truely i see a great artist in God,
For such a beauty as u,He has made.
How long do u propose to live here forth,
For i didnt know angels do live on earth,
I see in u beauty itself personified,
And ur eyes making it much more glorified.
I really wonder if this happening is verity,
For if it is so,its truely my serendipity,
'coz first time I witness a real beauty,
Which has turned my "blithers" into a poetry???
Beauty as yours on earth is rare to find,
However rarer than it is a beautiful mind,
For if you lack that inner beauty,
Its just like rain falling into the sea.
As years roll by,one day you'll see,
You'll not be pretty you used to be,
For all the beauties have had the same end,
Thats the message the history sends.
However there's one alternative i can say,
To make your beauty live all the way,
Make your mind benevolent towards all,
This 'll make ur beauty into an immortal.
Bolster others to make them grow,
This 'll make your soul to glow,
Taking this path you shall sow,
The reaps of which 'll make beauty bow.

I was fortunate to be in One Man show - Illayaraaja's Concert held here in chennai...I was there from around 6 to around 11 pm when it ended but i wished it would carry on...I hardly could see the happenings on the stage from where i was sittin...But the aura of his presence was enough to make me sit for 4 hrs without having food or water considering the fact that i didnt have lunch and a frugal breakfast...
The show was held in grounds of a school in Royapettah...The event organising was not upto the mark...there were some mess ups like when Raaja made his entry there were fireworks display...nothins wrong abt that but a sensible person would like to hear Him singin rite that too after an hours wait...But these guys go on blasting fireworks for more than 5 mins within which the audience got bored and a bit irritated...The sound engineeering was bad considering the fact that the orchestra was of Lakshman Shruthi....Could hardly hear Bass guitar for all the songs and that too when songs like Naan thedum were played....Overall we people at back could not hear the first few songs properly and people got so irritated that they started shouting saying to increase the volume and this volunteer comes n says theres a problem with the mid speaker....Highly frustrating shuld say...
Comin on to best part of the show...Of course it was Raaja....he sung for around 3 hrs continuously breaking in the middle jus to give some anecdotes...but for 3 hrs he didnt leave the stage was standin on the stage till the show ended around 11 pm...Man at this age would you believe it...The show started with a devotional number from Bhavatharini and after couple of devotional songs Raaja made his entry...He sung Janani to begin with...no points for guessing...after that it was pure Raaja's magic...Raaja(from Agni Nakshathiram), Thendral vandhu, Ilamai enum poongatru, Naan thedum, Nila athu from Nayagan(raaja called Yuvan's wife to sing with him for seconds and she did) were some songs...expected Poomalaye but was missed though the orchestra played karoke track in the beginning...
Few lyricist like Mu.Metha, Pazhani Bharathi talked abt Raaja...he stood unfazed by all the praise...He is created to create music and thats what hez doin...brilliantly....He rendered 3 versions of Maanguile...jus for fun....and when abaswaram Ramji(MC for the show) asked how yuvan would compose for the same song he gave a version which was hip and would have def caused a sensation if it featured in an album...
Above all these things the people present there were not jus mere fans...It was a gathering of His devotees(including myself)....I've never seen or known a MD been called Thalaiva and who commands so much Love and respect from his fans...You cant see this kind of loyalty to anyone else and it is a proof of his miracle...Any music director can have fans but to have followers u gotta b Isaignani(Musical genius)..And He is one...only one...

To start with, they say Valentines day is just to represent Love in any of its form...But frankly speakin i couldnt find a card which didnt talk abt the relationship you know what....To be candid I never was able to understand this whole concept of LOVE(Love as in the relationship between whom we term as lovers)....Dont jump to conclusions that I 'm a part of Bajrang Dal or somethin spreading anti-Love messages....It is that one of my friends raised this point in a middle of discussion....say 'm in love with a gal who I know for more than a year...How does that gal gain more importance than a friend who I've known for more than 10 years....
But then I dont think everyone who loves will fall in the bucket i just referred....Hats off to the exceptions and I sincerely hope they dont remain just abherrations....Fortunately or unfortunately I havent felt this harmonal surges on seeing a girl till now...Though i cannot deny that i didnt have those minor waves of crushes now and then...or rather always;)...My friends would be able to give a more eloborate insight i guess....
Okay as an ending note i dont think this made some or any sense at all as it didnt to me...Just wanted talk about something so talked about the thing that keeps the world moving or should i say spinning(guys 2)....Anyways guys dont get offended by this blog in any sense as i told before i'm very much for Love and valentines day...Just remember to love your parents and friends....Hail LOVE...
